What is AI Oneshot?
AI Oneshot is a blog about AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Midjourney — written from actually using them, not just reading about them. Every post comes from real, hands-on testing.
It's for people who keep hearing that AI tools are great but aren't sure how to actually put them to work. Instead of dense jargon, I lean on real screens and concrete examples you can follow along with right away.

Who's behind it
I'm Arkids, and I write everything on this site.
Outside this blog I run Arkids Design Studio, a one-person studio. I build the things I want to use myself: a Seoul neighbourhood retail-density map covering 425 districts, public-data tools that show actual registered property transaction prices and open architecture and design competitions, and an Android game about running an architecture practice.
That is where the blog comes from. I kept reaching for AI tools on that work, and I kept finding that the write-ups online had not actually run the thing they were reviewing.
So for every post I sit down with the tool, do the real task, capture the actual screens, and report what came back — including the parts that failed or got refused.
You can see that work at Arkids Design Studio. The studio site is in Korean, but the projects themselves are open to look at.
The goal is simple: even someone new to AI should be able to read a single post here and get started right away.
How I test
Every review here comes from an account I actually pay for or actually signed up to, doing a task I actually needed done. I screenshot the real screen rather than reproducing it, and I keep the failures in — the refusals, the wrong answers, the features that turned out to be paid-only. A tool that only ever looks good in a write-up is a tool nobody ran.
When I can't test something myself, I say so in the post and stick to what I could verify from primary sources.
